About the Author
Douglas A. Skoog was a professor of chemistry at Stanford University and the lead author of several best-selling texts during his career. He earned a B.S. in chemistry from Oregon State University and his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Illinois. Dr. Skoog was the 1999 recipient of the American Chemical Society award in analytical chemistry, sponsored by the Fisher Scientific Company. That same year, he was named a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. In 1993, he received the ACS Division of Analytical Chemistry Award for Excellence in Teaching.

I love the printed bersion of this Book, But this digital version is terrible. There's no how to make any search based in table of contents. The table of contents have no links for the pages we want to read. In the middle of the text, what seems to be a link doesn't work.I intended to buy this digital version of the book considering the easyness of handling I usually have with this kind of product. Unfortunately the experience wasn't good with this one. I regret having bought it.
My book was missing a whole chapter which I needed to read for homework!

this textbook is hands down one of the worst. it tells you how to calculate the problem in excel when we don't even use computers in class, very confusing, and some of the practice problems are wrong!!!!
Ok textbook, not that great at explaining fully.
