This is the perfect magazine. I don't think i need to say anything else. I recommend it to anyone that likes playboy.

I really liked it very much. I have erectile dysfunction & a large prostate. I don't like porn butmy md approves of the playboy magazine & master bating & fantizing for older men.

I haven't read Playboy in years, but cartoonists I follow had a 6-page story in this issue, so I bought it. I remember the humor being sophisticated, so I was surprised how dumb most of the jokes were. The naked ladies were pretty but essentially indistinguishable, and the sexuality seemed pretty sterile (in the figurative sense). The articles were well-eritten, but I'm skeptical of Playboy taking a stance in favor the #MeToo movement, when it has been the standard-bearer for straight male privilege since its inception.

This book meanders around, often repetitively without coming to grips with any real detail. I also found the author's writing style quite irritating. He loves exclamation marks! Often two or three stacked together!! Even when he makes the most bland statements!!! Such as "thank you Noel!!!"The author clearly does not understand the relationship between noise and the number of subexposures. On page 33 he states (correctly) that the noise goes down as "something like" the square root of the number of subs. In other words 100 subs of equal exposure stacked together will have one tenth of the noise of one sub. However this is not an absolute: the length of the exposure is also important. The author states that a disadvantage of longer exposures is that you will have fewer of them and hence more noise than lots of shorter exposures. This is nonsense. Twenty exposures of 5 minutes will have a lot less noise than 100 exposures of 1 minute. Shot noise in both will be approximately the same, since the total exposure is the same (100 minutes). However, read noise for the 100 exposures will be greater, since there are 100 reads as opposed to 20. One would expect the total noise in the stack of 100 to be sqrt(5) times more than in the stack of 20. The subject of noise is well discussed in the book "Astronomical Image Processing" by Berry and BurnellThe author is also a little confused about "fast" and "slow" telescopes. On Page 21 he states that "Light grabbing power is all about aperture.." On Page 25, after discussing the fact that a large aperture refractor probably needs a permanent setup, he goes on to state that "Of course you can use smaller aperture refractors for imaging, but you will by necessity be using a 'slow' system..." To me this suggests that he is implying that speed is a function of aperture. He then contradicts this on page 35 where he states that "..the Hubble space telescope with a 2-metre diameter mirror..is very much slower than my Sky 90 3.5" refractor..." The problem is that when astroimaging, the whole system must be considered. It makes no sense to talk of a "fast" telescope in isolation. It does make sense to say that one telescope/camera combination is faster than another telescope/camera combination. For instance an f10 telescope matched with a camera whose pixel size delivers 2 arc sec per pixel will be 4 x faster than an f5 telescope of the same aperture matched with a camera whose pixel size delivers 1 arc sec per pixel, because in the second case, each pixel receives only a quarter of the light than in the first case. This is why we can speed up exposures by binning. Binning 2 x 2 effectively halves the focal ratio of a telescope. You get the same image scale, speed and resolution that you would get from a telescope of half the focal ratio and the same aperture. Of course, there is no such thing as a free lunch. You also get half the field of view, but since most DSOs occupy only the central field, this is often not important.The book is really about "My trials and errors in astroimaging". While some personal reflections are often of interest, it is my opinion that the author overdoes the personal reflections aspect.The pictures in Chapter 11 are the best part of the book, but in themselves do not make the purchase of the book worthwhile. Chapter 12 ("Differentiating your work") also contains some good advice. All in all, I cannot recommend purchasing this book.

I received it early. Its a good book, I recommend it for beginners, the author introduces very good concepts on equipment utilization.

I was all set on purchasing a CCD camera for my Celestron C14. After much research I was going to go with the Hyper-Star camera. After reading this book I saw that this choice would be fraught with technical problems more suited to a professional or highly neurotic astro-photographer. Just contemplating trying to focus the Hyper Star camera with a tolerance of microns made my choice plain. I wasn't going to spend thousands on a camera only useable on one telescope. This book more than paid for itself.As far as the other data in the book, I glossed over the author's pet products. I also appreciated the fine photos even being in such a small format book.

This book does contain some very beautiful DSO images, but other than that it is a unfortunate disappointment to me. Not only because the 'Affordable' here in this book seems not too affordable - at least to me I'd consider a Stellarvue 80ED is much more affordable than Tak Sky90. Some impression I got from this book was unless you have a Tak 90 otherwise you won't get DSO pictures even close to the author had produced.Maybe you found this book is good for you, but I did not. Sorry.

About the Author

Kazuo Koike is a prolific Japanese manga writer, novelist, and entrepreneur. Early in Koike's career, he studied under Golgo 13 creator Takao Saito and served as a writer on the series. Koike, along with artist Goseki Kojima, made the manga Kozure Okami (Lone Wolf and Cub), and Koike also contributed to the scripts for the 1970s film adaptations of the series, which starred famous Japanese actor Tomisaburo Wakayama. Another series written by Koike, Crying Freeman, which was illustrated by Ryoichi Ikegami, was adapted into a 1995 live-action film by French director Christophe Gans.Goseki Kojima was a Japanese manga artist known for his collaborations with Kazuo Koike. The team was often referred to as the “Golden Duo.” Kojima’s best-known work was Lone Wolf and Cub. Other titles attributed to Kojima are Samurai Executioner and Path of the Assassin. Volume 9 of "Path of the Assassin" is entitled "Battle for Power: Part One," and you should be forewarned that this particular story carries off through not just the next volume but the one after that, so it will probably not be until the end of this year that we finally get to the end of this particular story. Part 1 was originally scheduled to be released in October 2007 but has not shown up until March of 2008, which is when Part 2 was supposed to be published with Part 3 slatted for April. Obviously that is not going to happen, but I am getting used to the delays and am accepting the strong probability that this 15-volume series will not be finished until 2010. So each time the next volume finally shows up, it is to be savored.It turns out that the title for this volume is something of a misnomer in that most of this magna is devoted to the chapter on "Haja Kensho," begun in Volume 8 (managing to put all of it in one volume proved to be a mathematical impossibility apparently). No. 1: "Ihoro Kikko (Part 2)" begins with the fall of Mino, as a necessary step for Nobunaga's effort to rise up, serve the emperor, and declare his supremacy. Hanzo requests Nobunaga's sash, tied, which he accepts on his master's behalf, the next step in the giant chess game being played for the Shogunate. No. 2: "A Wish to Be Alone," finds Hanzo becoming a father and his wife puzzled by his remark "I wish...I was alone." The meaning of such a remark must be explained, as must the meaning of Nobunaga's tied sash. No. 3: "Kyoyu," introduces us to a strange samurai coming up from the west. After interrupting a violent rape, the samurai makes his way to the Mori Motonair, where he demonstrates his proficiency with a gun and his prescience towards the favor that will be asked him. Intended for mature readers and carrying a parental advisory label that warns of explicit content, this series is rather astounding in its ability to entwine sex and politics, and by "sex" I do not mean simply arranged marriages for the purposes of alliances or the importance of producing children. With Koike and Kojima, an orgasm can literally be an important step on the road to power. Yes, this is a peculiar approach to history, and I must admit that the current installments are not as compelling as the early ones when Tokugawa Ieyasu and Hattori Hanzo become "Lifelong Friends, with the Same Dreams, Striving to Grow into a Rising River." Other characters are starting to dominate the stories more and more, which may be necessary given the scope of the tale, but remains a source of regret for those of us who loved the intimacy of the earlier tales. Still, with Koike and Kojima in terms of graphic storytelling, this is as good as it gets.

Like the other two series "Lone Wolf and Cub" and "Samurai Executioner", "Path of the Assasin" is a very pleasant book for one to read. But unlike the other two series, there is a focus on the geopolitical events of that era in japan and much less battles. Also it is almost impossible to remember all the different names and charactes that take part on the plot.

I am a law school student and I have to say How to WIN Your Case in Traffic Court Without a Lawyer by: Janet Traken is an informative book and is very well organized. Mrs. Traken spends a good part of just trying to make the reader familiar with how the legal system works at the informal traffic court level. I believe this a very good thing to do because most people feel nervous and apprehensive about being in front of a judge and therefore are more likely to make mistakes. By familiarizing the reader with the process they not only become more aware of their rights but significantly more comfortable exercising them. How to Win Your Case in Traffic Court spends a considerable time discussing the various methods police use to catch speeders although I am not sure how many of them are still used. I believe all of the police in my state almost exclusively use radar or lidar and do not use techniques like pacing or estimated guessing. Readers should know this book does not actually discuss case law to be used in your defense but lays out the methods for someone who has not had legal training. Overall, the book serves its purpose very well and includes all of the details to make someone comfortable exercising their legal rights in court.

When I first got this book to review I immediately looked for the bio of the author. I was surprised to see that the author, Janet Traken, is a freelance writer and there was no indication of experience or knowledge of the law. This to me indicated lack of credibility and I went on to reading the book with reluctance.The first chapter of the book suggests writing down the incident and this is of utmost importance. If you do go to traffic court it's very possible it will several months after the incident and much will happen during that time. Our memories can hold just so much and by reading notes it will bring back more memories of the incident.As I perused the book further I came upon explanations of possible ticketing: Improper Passing, Seatbelt Violations, Speeding, Open Container, etc. The chapter titled "Do You Need a Lawyer" was interesting and certainly would help you decide whether you want to hire a lawyer or attempt to win the case yourself. Another important chapter is "Preparing for the Trial Step One: Gathering and Analyzing Evidence."By the time I got finished reading this book I felt I was more informed than before and do have knowledge in the event I have a traffic violation. I believe the Traken researched the topic well enough to give us the basics and a platform of where to start. This book will certainly help you decide what direction you want to pursue your violation and whether or not it's worth the time and effort to fight it or pay the fine. It's a decision only you can make and I believe gaining the knowledge from what Taken has written will make you wise enough to make the decision.

Possible spoilers aheadThe first half of this book starts out fantastic. We see the slow decline of mankind and experience it with the main character, Harper. I can't really think of any disease more terrifying than one that could cause you to spontaneously combust without any sort of warning. I liked Harper for the most part, but she was pretty generic. Kind of a cardboard cut out nurse.Of course, at about the halfway point, we do meet the thing more terrifying than the disease that causes you to spontaneously combust, self preserving, panicked humans. I think Carol is the most terrifying, but there is also Jakob Grayson, the Marlboro Man, and a whole slew of others. A good horror story all around. The horror never seems to end for Harper and her friends.By that I mean, this book never seems to end. Don't get me wrong, I don't object to books being long. In fact- I like long. I think my objection to the length of this book comes from a lack of focus or clear direction. First the antagonist is the dragon scale itself, then it's her husband, Jakob Grayson, then its group think and Carol Storey, then it's the Governor of Maine. I thought this book was over when I was at the 75% mark. It felt over. We reached a huge climax, overcame it, and moved on. It should have ended. I thought that other 25% was acknowledgements and book previews, etc., etc. as my kindle app so often tells me I'm only 75% finished when the book is actually done. I was ready for someone to put these characters out of their misery.That being said- I did enjoy the story overall. I like the fireman character. I adored Nick. I felt bad about Mr. Truffles. That seemed unnecessary. The horror was real. I will definitely keep on with Joe Hill. I don't think the drawn out ending outweighed the good story telling here, but it wasn't NOS4A2. If you want to read Joe Hill and haven't checked out NOS4A2 yet- start with that one.

Wow ... such high hopes. I was very disappointed in this book. The premise sounded promising - a virus that cause people to burst into flames - and the opening chapter was riveting. But after that Hill's story progresses at a snail's pace. I was most disappointed because I'd enjoyed all of his other novels immensely. It's unfair to add that he's Stephen King's son, but that being the case is partly why my expectations were so high (though I've had something of a love/hate relationship with his offerings over the past few years).Honestly, the worst thing I can say about this book is that it was boring, and in the end, I didn't really care who lived or died. I had no emotional attachment to any of the characters. I can't help but feel like this book could have benefited mightily from a better editor who could trim it down from 600-plus pages to 300.

This is a hard book to review. On the one hand, it's well-written, with interesting characters and a unique plot. Yes, it's post-apocalyptic fiction, but it manages to be different all the same.On the other, my God, but did this book need someone to tell Joe Hill to cut back several chapters. Moreover, he needs to stop stepping on his own plot twists. There are only a few plot twists here that are not spelled out ahead of time what will happen. Before we even meet a particular character, we are told by The Fireman that the character is untrustworthy and might turn into a villain. So it is no surprise at all when that exactly comes to pass. Later, characters often speculate on what will occur, only for that exact thing to happen. For example, the cat. It's clearly a bad idea to bring the cat. Two characters spell it out. But do they bring the cat? Yes, they do. Does it turn out to be a bad idea? Yes it does.And our characters, despite all they go through, are curiously accepting of one plot point, something I could not for the life of me understand. I won't say more for fear of revealing too much.Overall, it's an extremely engaging read that slows down far too much in the middle and would have benefited from an editor slashing about a third of it. I wish the ending were different, but I respect it nonetheless (except for the fate of the cat).P.S. There is a hidden ending to this book. Do yourself a favor and read the credits until the very end.P.P.S. Kate Mulgrew's narration is amazing.

The best I've found so far on braiding and the turk's head knot. A comprehensive guide to round and flat braiding, lacing and knoting with a lot of little extras. The instructions, both written and pictorial, are great - clear and easy to follow. And he writes in a positive, easy-going frame of mind, so crazy as it sounds, considering I'm talking about braiding leather, he's fun to read!

I am making walking staffs for my family and wanted a way to wrap the handle. This book illustrates what i need to know to do the work!

This book, is yet another of Bruce Grants, instructional items, that I re-purchased.. I have two otherof his books, and this is an intricate continuation... First was his "Encyclopedia of Rawhide and LeatherBraiding", and the second was, "How to Make Cowboy Horse Gear" ... This one deals with a great deal ofwork, that isn't "all" in the first ones... There are some overlaps, but in general, it covers things I wanted..The three, including this one, are re-buys, because I lost my three in a fire... :( Obviously I was, or amcontent with them, or I wouldn't have pursued replacements... Initially one was out of print for a while.. Any of these instructional books require paying attention, and moving through the steps, slowly...It is difficult to make drawings, that are completely able to make you a master, in a short time.. sometrial and error, and some re-dos... Very good book on a variety of types of leather braiding. I am a first timer and the directions on the projects I am interested in are very good. I would recommend this book to anyone who is getting started in leather braiding. The directions are easy to follow and the drawings are very easy to read and follow. A good book for a reasonable price.

Customers who also want to buy Encyclopedia of Rawhide and Leather Braiding of the same auther should skip this book. Encyclopedia contains all the same information and plus many more.

Excellent book on the subject, and it covers more than just basic braiding. If you enjoy playing with leather, I highly recommend it

The diagrams are ok, but very difficult to follow. It's a good reference to see what braids you like from the pics/diagrams and then go look up how to do them on the Internet...If you're serious about leather braiding, you should probably have it in your library as some people online will refer to pages in the book when explaining something.

One of the best books I've read. For everyone who's ever lost a loved pet, this is just part of the book, but to me, I had not only just lost a loved cat named Reno, but the book helped me through it. Reno stayed long after he passed. letting me know he was still around. you just need to listen and be aware............and be comforted. Everyone is as different as their own beliefs, these are just mine.

Animal communicators are fascinating. Compassionate people have a rough time in this world, this reminded me I am not the only one who struggles. I found her story interesting. I have been an animal guardian my whole life and have used several animal communicators. They are absolutely indispensable at times especially when the pet is sick and you don't know what he or she needs This book is worth reading for any animal guardian.

I have read this when I loss the life of a pet years ago,it was a tremendous help to me.THIS BOOK is truly inspiring. At a time of grief for me, twice now.It actually calmed me down as I read, and I don't believe in calling up mediums but I got out of this book that God has made a way for each one of our pets whether alive or passed to have such extraordinary life within, Nothing shall seperate our love. I enjoyed the stories of what pets had to say in the afterlife. So much of a encouragement. And knowing they are able to see us, and want us to be mindful of their loving presence. I have a few books and I kept going back to this one, now again my beloved baby (another animal ) its difficult but this book speaks to the human heart as if your pet needs you to know these things and you your animal does want you to know these things.

This book is a GREAT READ, period. So tender and full of beauty -- so filled with compassion -- so full of resources for those seeking an animal communicator, so full of heartwarming stories, I simply could NOT put it down! I cried and laughed my way through the tender bits and the losses, but ultimately this is a book brimming with sheer joy. I wasn't sure if animals had an afterlife before I read this book (but have always said if animals don't get to go to heaven, I don't want to go either). Now, I know I will see my beloved friends again someday and pay a great deal more attention to the little things that have probably signaled their presence all along.Lots of love to you, Kim, for this beautiful book. A wonderful book. Very well written, interesting and comforting. The only thing I didnâ€™t care for was the last chapter or two (canâ€™t remember now) where the author went on and on about the virtues of vegetarianism. I have no issues with it, but I donâ€™t think this was the place for it. I got the book to find comfort after the loss of my beloved pet, not to be lectured on why I should become a vegetarian.

I originally ordered the first version of this book (published 2003? 2009?) after the painful death of my 12-year old dog Katie, who had diabetes and kidney failure. The book comforted me as I struggled through the grief process. The pain was still intense but I could cope. I am hoping the updated version will have new stories and I highly recommend it in ANY version to the grieving pet owner.There are stories about dogs, cats, and rats. Maybe other pets too, I don't remember. After reading about the wonderful rats Kim loved, my husband and I found an abandoned domestic rat in a park and rescued him. Templeton just passed away - I am so sad. I need this book again, but I gave away all my copies to suffering friends when their pets passed...now the first version seems to be out of print. My highest recommendations! This book is a winner in every way. The writing is beautiful - faultless. Kim Sheridan took an extraordinary amount of care to craft the stories and chapters in a way that keeps the reader hooked. And thanks to Hay House who publishes the highest quality books, the editing and subediting ensured everything flowed. There was a beautiful balance between Kim's own stories and experiences (which I found the most touching of all) and the contributions from other pet-owners.There was so much content in the book. As part of my morning routine, I would read a chapter or two and feel instantly connected to all that was good in the world. I have been a spiritual reader all my life, and I claim to be an animal lover, but honestly I didn't know I still carried a lot of prejudices - like believing that the souls of animals were "less" than that of humans. Many chapters had me choked up with tears as I read how intense the relationships were. It also was a great comfort to helping me with my own sorrows relating to the passing of my human loved ones. I realised how truly connected we all are in the afterlife - human, animal, we're all part of one great consciousness.I purchased the Kindle version and what a bargain! Only about $3 for a book of over 400 pages! I hated to finish reading the book and thankfully it lasted a long time.I learned a lot from this book - but more from reading the stories than the advice given by Robinson in the closing chapters. I don't like being told what I should believe and that is what she did. Up until that time, I had already been slowly changing my views by being influenced by the stories and their outcomes. Up until the closing chapters, I would have given this 5, 6, even 7 stars! The best "preaching" is done the way all successful preachers have done it in the past: show the example, tell the story and let each individual draw his own conclusion. That was the essence of Jesus' parables - they could be interpreted from many different points of view, relevant to the spiritual progress of the individual listener. Robinson was successfully accomplishing this until the last chapters when she suddenly switched to proselytising, to telling us what to do and how to behave.Nevertheless, this is an exceptional book, way ahead of all the others in its class. It was an extensive labour of love and a great contribution to making our world a better place.

First is that i love science fiction and fantasy but i also would love some erotic romance in those stories. Science fiction and fantasy writers are for the most part clueless when it comes to writing good erotic romance and that's my problem in finding satisfying stories and authors to read. With the author of this story i have found the combination i was looking for and her stories are alot of fun for the kind of people with an open mind. The plot of this story concerns an insecure young mam that feels that he has lost everything worth living for until he remember his friend a strong and beautiful woman that is about to change his life forever in a fun filled erotic adventure. Well my first book, lost my real cherry 58 years ago! Enough about me. I love this book for several reasons: 1. LOTS of sex 2. The characters are pretty realistic, especially when you view them on her website, they are hot but not supermodels 3. Did I mention LOTS of sex? Try it, you'll like it.

Enjoyed the storyline even with main dude being needier than usual, great encounters but as always wish it was longer and really hope for a continuation of the story! Highly recommended

It is an interesting read, albeit a little less reader-friendly than the Kogan Page norm. It is also suitable for students and senior management alike (the latter group may have less detailed knowledge about the subject, but need to learn its benefits).
